Brittany Ferries saw a 12% jump in passenger numbers on its Irish routes last year, the French ferry operator has said.
The company’s Irish routes link passengers to France and Spain from two Irish ports – Cork and Rosslare.

The company increased its number of sailings from Ireland by 27% – to 567 – across all routes and carried a total of 213,725 passengers on the Irish routes during the year.
It also recorded a 16% jump in tourism vehicles, while freight volumes also soared.
On the back of the growth, Brittany Ferries has just resumed its Cork to Roscoff seasonal route.
