Brazil to Take Centre Stage at FITUR 2025 in Madrid

FITUR 2025 – Spain’s largest tourism and travel trade fair – is gearing up for its 45th edition, running from January 22 to 26; once again organised by IFEMA Madrid.

The event will highlight the exceptional performance of the tourism industry in 2024 and its promising outlook for 2025.

Among the highlights for 2025 is Brazil’s participation as Partner Country, with a significant presence to showcase its diverse tourism offerings and strengthen its global positioning. According to data from Brazil’s Ministry of Tourism and Embratur, 2024 was a record year for international tourism, with 6,657,377 foreign visitors, a 12.6% increase from the previous year.

Overall, there will be 101 countries exhibiting – with 11 new countries from Africa and Asia.

Over the course of the five days, the organisers expect around 150,000 trade guests to visit the show and 100,000 members of the public to visit.

In all, Fitur generates around €445m for the Madrid economy.
