EasyJet has confirmed its commitment to Northern Ireland by announcing that flights between Belfast International Airport and Liverpool will continue, while competitor Flybe prepares to end its service between the two cities at the end of this month. A Belfast – Manchester service commences on 31st October.
EasyJet operates direct flights between Belfast and Liverpool up to seven times a day, every day of the week, with fares starting from only £21.99 (one way, including taxes).
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, said: “The route between Belfast and Liverpool is an incredibly popular one, both for business and commercial passengers. EasyJet has no plans to follow in Flybe’s footsteps; rather, we are looking at increasing the number of flights on this important route.
“Our commitment to the market is further demonstrated by the launch of direct flights between Belfast and Manchester, which will start at the end of this month – meaning passengers in the North West of England will have even more choice when it comes to accessing Northern Ireland.”
Flights between Belfast and Manchester will operate twice a day from 31st October, with fares starting from £27.99 (one way, including taxes).
