    Bedsonline Announces Gemma Walker As New Irish Key Account Manager

      Bedsonline has announced Gemma Walker as a new Key Account Manager for Ireland.

      Gemma is bringing over 20 years of industry experience with her, having begun her journey in the travel industry at Thomas Cook followed by 11 years as an Account Manager in an escorted tourism business. She will play a pivotal role in the Bedsonline Irish market and the Bedsonline team are excited for all that she will help set into motion.

      In a recent introductory interview, Ms Walker said: “My greatest career achievement so far has been building a relatively unknown brand into a market-leader in escorted tours, working closely with travel agent partners to build an understanding of the support they need and the products they want.”

      “I enjoy working with a great portfolio of products, and I’m looking forward to being able to take Bedsonline’s fantastic offering into Ireland. I’m super excited to meet Bedsonline clients, gain an understanding of each branch’s needs and building relationships. I also can’t wait to try a proper pint of Guinness!“

      To celebrate this fact, Bedsonline has launched an incentive for their valued Irish customers – a €1000 giveaway for all Bedsonline bookings created from now, up to the end of October 2024!

        Riviera Travel appoints Matt Luscombe as CEO, from Riviera Travel appoints Matt Luscombe as CEO, from 1 Jan 2026, succeeding Phil Hullal, who will remain a significant shareholder in the business. 

Matt's extensive experience includes:
CEO | Freemans Event Partners - expanded to serve 15+ million people p.a. at 600+ events across the UK & Europe.

CEO | Cycas Hospitality - oversaw the hotel management company quadruple in size, expanding into 11 new countries, with a team of 2,000+.

10 years at InterContinental Hotels, including as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe & North Africa - oversaw brand & commercial strategy, managed $4bn in sales & $85m sales/marketing budget.

Matt has degrees in Econ. & Management Studies from the University of Cambridge & is a former medal-winning international rowing coach.

Jennifer Callister, John Booty & Aaron Langford hosted the intimate dinner and overnight stay.

Attendees learned of a new feature in the Royal Caribbean world - the Royal Beach Club. The first is expected to open in Dec-25 in Nassau, Bahamas.  This is similar to an excursion. This allows guests to have a “beach day” in a very luxurious way. Once guests pay the cover charge, they can enjoy the setting & amenities available.

In Europe, Royal Beach Club Santorini will welcome guests in summer 2026. This setting will combine the breathtaking volcanic beaches of this iconic Greek island with the company’s signature experiences alongside the vibrant local spirit and culture. 

Next summer will also see Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas, launch in Europe. Her European debut will be in Rome with her first sailing on 11th July. This is ahead of its grand Caribbean debut from Fort Lauderdale in Nov-26.

Guests will enjoy the most dining at sea with 28 options, over 20 bars and lounges, as well as new entertainment, including the Broadway hit musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, offering even more ways to thrill, chill and stay. 

The 4th Icon Class ship is under construction and is expected in 2027, with the 7th Oasis Class ship launching in 2028. ⚓️⛱️🛳️
