Thomas Cook Ireland is catering for all ages with its 2012 cruise programme, including families with infants as young as six months.
The Thomas Cook Cruise Ireland line-up of Royal Caribbean International cruises ensures parents can quickly switch into holiday mode, relaxed in the knowledge that their little ones will be well looked after. On-board nurseries, available on most ships, mean fully trained staff are at hand daytime and evenings, and staff-to-child ratios are always kept high. Meanwhile, Sitters at Sea is a group or individual babysitting service available on all ships.
Interactive classes, specially developed on-board activities by Fisher Price, baby gymnastics, Crayola workshops and musical activities are just some of the amenities on offer to the under three’s. These are available on all Royal Caribbean ships and are included in the price. Guests can also borrow and exchange Fisher Price developmental toys for children up to 36 months.
“It’s a measure of how the cruise market has developed that this level of service is available to young parents,” said Sharon Harney of Thomas Cook Cruise. “It goes to show that cruises these days really are catering for the entire spectrum of holidaymakers. What’s more, they offer a value alternative to the conventional holiday on land, as meals, drinks and facilities are typically included in the price.”
Thomas Cook cruises start from €799 per person, including flights from Dublin, for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise.
