BA to Operate A380 on London Heathrow – Johannesburg

British Airways will operate an Airbus A380 on its London Heathrow – Johannesburg route next year, commencing with three times a week from 10th February then six flights weekly from 10thMarch.

Johannesburg will be BA’s third A380 destination, following the launch of a five-times-weekly service to Los Angeles from 24th September 2013 (increasing to double-daily from 10th April) and a daily service to Hong Kong from 22nd October.

BA’s A380s accommodate 469 passengers: 14 in First at the front of the main deck, 44 Club World seats on the main deck and 53 on the upper deck, 55 World Traveller Plus seats on the upper deck, and 303 World Traveller seats on the main and upper decks.
