British Airways has confirmed that it will offer its passengers a daily service to Shanghai from the end of March 2013. The increase from six flights a week to seven comes at a time when BA is extending its network to China, with a new three times a week route to Chengdu starting from 22nd September this year.
Jamie Cassidy, British Airways’ General Manager for the Middle East and Asia Pacific, said: “I am delighted that we are now able to offer our customers a daily service to Shanghai, which is a very important route for British Airways’ customers, especially for those doing business there.”
British Airways started flying to Shanghai in June 2005, operating five times a week, on a B777.
