To celebrate its return to the UAE for the 2013/2014 winter season, MSC Cruises has partnered with Emirates to offer seven-night cruises from €839 per person, including return flights from Dublin and a pre-cruise night in a Dubai hotel. Meanwhile, to celebrate the release of ‘The Smurfs 2’ at cinemas across Europe this summer, MSC Divina’s youngest guests can enjoy a Smurf-tastic adventure on the high seas.
MSC Lirica will cruise in the region between 23rd November 2013 and 29th March 2014, departing from Dubai and calling in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Khor al Fakkan (UAE), Muscat and Khasab (Oman), and back to Dubai.
In addition to new ports of call, MSC Cruises is launching a variety of brand new excursions and activities for guests to pick and choose – from an exhilarating experience of the Khor al Fakkan desert dunes in a 4×4 to a mystical tour of Muscat, a visit to the Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi, going backstage at the Yas Marina F1 circuit, or embarking on a hydroplane to get an aerial view of Dubai.
A seven-night cruise on board MSC Lirica, departing 7th, 14th December 2013 and 1st, 8th February 2014 including return flights from Dublin starts from €839 per person, plus an overnight night pre-cruise stay in a hotel in Dubai.
Smurfs on MSC Divinia
As the only cruise ship to offer a Smurf-themed Mini and Junior Club, the release of the Smurfs’ latest 3D adventures is an ideal opportunity for MSC Divina to take blue and white fun on board to new levels.
From the end of August 2013, children will enjoy a unique tailored programme, including fun-filled family activities with the ship’s giant Smurf mascot as the guest of honour, and arts and crafts sessions with official Smurf 2 materials.
From DJ to sous-chef, the onboard mascot will take on a number of key roles during family events, ranging from the Smurfs Family Disco, the Smurfs Live Talent Show, and Smurfs Master Chef – a special cooking demonstration held by the head pastry chef in which children learn how to make biscuits and cakes through a hands-on experience.
Travellers across the fleet will also be able to sing along to their favourite tunes from The Smurf 2 Official Soundtrack, including Britney Spears’ ‘Ooh la la’, during the Family Disco and Smurfs Parade.
Those who haven’t yet seen the Smurfs’ latest escapades will be given a glimpse of what they are missing, with the movie trailer to be shown in the ship’s bars and lounges during family activities.
The fun won’t stop when MSC Divina starts her Caribbean season from Miami in November 2013, where activities will be extended all season long to celebrate the launch of the DVD.
