Ambassador Cruise Line to Sail from Belfast Next Year

UK cruise company Ambassador is planning to sail from Belfast in 2023 as well as a host of ports around Britain.

The company – which has London Tilbury as its home port – is the first cruise line to launch in the UK in a decade and is also planning to make its debut sailing in Australia in 2024.

Ambassador currently sails from London on cruises through the Mediterranean, Arctic and the Canary Islands, as well as around Britain.

It said it plans to also sail from six additional ports next year – namely Belfast, Bristol, Dundee, Newcastle, Falmouth and Liverpool.

Ambassador currently has a fleet of two ships – the Ambience, which began sailing last April; and the Ambition, which will start sailing next May.

Combined, the ships will visit six continents and 58 countries, and 165 ports on their itineraries.
