All Tour America Agents Become Admirals in RCI Training

An extra large Captain’s table is needed as Tour America celebrates every member of the team reaching Admiral level in Royal Caribbean International’s Cruising For Excellence (CFE) training programme. Meanwhile, RCI has enhanced its sales team and entertained Irish agents at Bang restaurant.

As well as investing in agent incentives and consumer offers, RCI has made a long-standing commitment to backing the trade with significant investment in industry-leading training initiatives that engage agents through the cruising power (www.cruisingpower.ie) dedicated trade online resource. The brand’s characteristic innovation carries through to the fun it brings to interactive training sessions, webinars as well as face-to-face sessions, fam trips and other events.

Enhanced Sales Team

Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean International has enhanced its sales team with a new senior member and has welcomed back Jenny Rafter from maternity leave. Other moves see further investment in all-new features for the automated booking tools for agents with a round of fully interactive training sessions, a characteristically fun brand update event, and a new agent incentive of shopping vouchers.

Steve Williams, Head of Sales – Royal Caribbean International UK and Ireland, whose role was recently expanded to cover the Irish market, visited Dublin last week for meetings with trade partners. Steve joined major account managers Jenny Rafter and Jennifer Callister to host an agents’ dinner in Bang restaurant, including John Cassidy Travel, Travel Centres, Marble City Travel, eTravel, Travelsavers, Tour America, Worldchoice, and Trailfinders.

In addition to celebrating the recently unveiled enhancements to its reservation system by offering agents a €10 Love2Shop voucher for each automated booking (the offer applied to Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises bookings) made with CruiseMatch and other booking engines, Royal Caribbean is hosting a fun-filled agent’s evening out at Dublin’s Everleigh Garden. Along with great spot prizes, the evening will feature an update on the brand, the enhanced booking tools and news of upcoming opportunities and incentives.

Royal Caribbean has been confirmed as lead sponsor for the upcoming Travel Centres consortium conference for scheduled for Friday, 8 November at 2013.  Ireland’s favourite cruise company sealed its place at the top of tree for the lucky winner of a prize draw at the recent Travel Department Holiday Show at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.  Teresa McCole from Castleknock triumphed over more than 4,000 other visitors to the show when her name was picked as the winner of an ‘Escorted Cruise Holiday with Travel Department & Royal Caribbean International’ and she will be enjoying a Mediterranean Cruise in 2014.
