AirHelp Appoints Tim Boisvert Chief Technology Officer

AirHelp, the world’s largest air passenger rights organisation, has appointed Tim Boisvert Chief Technology Officer.

Mr Boisvert joins AirHelp from tech firm wefox, where he was vice-president of engineering and platform architect.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, and brings a wealth of experience in driving innovation and leading large, distributed organisations focused on the development and architecture of platforms, services, tools, and products.

Mr Boisvert has previously held roles at Yahoo! and AOL. 

AirHelp’s mission is to make claiming compensation as seamless as possible, achieved by data and cutting-edge technology presented with a user-friendly website and an intuitive mobile app.

As chief technology officer, Mr Boisvert will be responsible for managing the company’s engineering, data, IT, and security teams to help scale AirHelp’s core systems and advance its technology culture.

Speaking on his new role, Tim Boisvert said: “I’m joining AirHelp at an exciting time, as the business looks to truly enhance its customer experience. AirHelp’s technology has revolutionised the flight claims industry – with over 16 million air travellers helped when claiming the compensation they are entitled to.
