Air France-KLM/Delta/Alitalia certainly threw a great ‘Thank You’ summer party last Friday as more than 180 travel agents discovered as the sun shone, the music played and the refreshments flowed at the Harbour Master Bar in the heart of Dublin’s trendy financial district.
The airlines were represented by Siobhan Scanlon, AF-KLM/Delta Manager for Ireland, who briefed the agents on the latest developments from the airlines. Air France has begun a new Paris to Vancouver service, while Dutch carrier KLM has a new route from Amsterdam to Edmonton.
Meanwhile, KLM has entered the Northern Ireland market with flights from Belfast to Amsterdam.
Delta Air Lines is back on the summer schedule with daily flights from Dublin to Atlanta and Dublin to New York.
The host airlines tested the agents’ knowledge and the lucky winners took home some great prizes of tickets on the various networks.
It was good to see popular Frank McCaffrey back in the airline industry having just joined the Air France-KLM sales team as Account Manager on Monday 11th May. Frank has taken over the trade and corporate accounts portfolio of Martina Coogan, who left the airline recently.
