Friday night was party night at the Trinity City Hotel in Dublin as Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines, partnered by Dublin Airport, said ‘Thank You’ to the trade at their annual summer party. Siobhan Scanlon, Head of Sales Ireland, thanked the agents for their great support for all the airlines, including Transavia, and for their contributions to the success of all four brands.
Increased frequency from Dublin to Amsterdam on KLM has been an outstanding success and Air France continues with five daily flights from Dublin to Paris CDG, she said. For many years Delta Air Lines has been a major player in the Irish market and the introduction of the seasonal Dublin-Boston service has been a positive move for the airline.
Siobhan also thanked Dublin Airport for their support in sponsoring the event and for all aspects of the daily interaction at the airport.
Edel Redmond of Dublin Airport, who was joined at the event by John Hurley, Brian Gallagher and Michelle Reilly, announced that Dublin Airport is the fastest growing airport in Europe and is now handling 100,000 passengers per day.
