Star Alliance partners Air Canada and Turkish Airlines have signed a reciprocal code sharing agreement to take effect the beginning of the second quarter of 2013. Air Canada plans a Toronto-Istanbul route launching in the summer, pending receipt of government approval.
Murat Balandi, General Director of Turkish Airlines Ireland, said: “This new agreement offers our customers even more options with connecting flights through Istanbul. It means easier travel for those looking to go further afield and gives people even more reason to choose Turkish Airlines.”
