Aeromexico emerged as the new global leader for airline on-time performance, in July, with a near 90% punctuality reading.
The latest monthly on-time performance stats from global aviation analysis company Cirium also showed strong showings from Qatar Airways, LATAM Airlines and Delta Air Lines, which was the most punctual US carrier last month.
In Europe, Icelandair maintained its position as regional leader despite a decrease in on-time performance of more than four points.

July was another turbulent month for air travel, with global flight cancellations climbing to 58,239—a 5% increase from May. The impact hit North America hardest with a 42% increase, followed by Europe (30%) and Latin America (21%).
