Aer Lingus will fly to Orlando, Florida on Christmas Day this year.
One thing to note, however, the direct route will take off from Manchester.
Earlier this week, Aer Lingus announced the expansion of its transatlantic services out of Manchester, which has proven a successful hub for the airline since launching in recent years.
Aer Lingus said it would be increasing flight frequency on the Manchester to Orlando service – from three times a week to four times a week – through the Christmas 2024 holiday period; between December 18 and January 8 (2025) inclusive.
Speaking earlier in the week, Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus’ chief commercial officer said the extension to the Manchester transatlantic service was on the back of growing customer demand.
