Aer Lingus is to start a temporary new direct service between Dublin and Barbados from the end of March.
The new route will run until the end of May and replaces the service Aer Lingus had been running via Manchester, before it closed operations there recently.

Aer Lingus will fly the route via one of its new fuel-efficient Airbus A321XLR planes three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays over the three-month period.
The flight will depart from Dublin at 1350 with an 1800 arrival in Barbados. The return flight will depart from Barbados at 1930, with an 0840 arrival in Dublin the following morning.
