Aer Lingus summer 2023 schedule with 53 European destinations from Ireland is now on sale and includes new destinations including Kos, Brindisi in Puglia and Olbia in Sardinia. Aer Lingus will commence twice weekly flights to the new destinations starting with Kos and Olbia from May and Brindisi from June.
New routes for Summer 2023
Aer Lingus is introducing three new routes to its short-haul network for summer 2023. The Greek island Kos and two new Italian destinations, Olbia in Sardinia and Brindisi in Puglia.
The schedule includes favourite destinations for Irish holidaymakers seeking summer sun next year in Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Canaries and the Med, as well as lots of city break destinations to choose from throughout Europe.
Transatlantic Flights
Summer 2023 will also be Aer Lingus’ largest ever transatlantic schedule with 2.25 million transatlantic seats and 15 direct transatlantic flights available from Ireland – an increase of 20% more seats from Ireland to North America compared with 2019. Introducing Cleveland Ohio, for the first time and the return of Hartford, Connecticut, the schedule also includes favourite destinations such as New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, Seattle and Philadelphia.
Direct flights from Manchester to Barbados, New York and Orlando are all available to book now, as well as connecting options from Dublin and Cork.

The summer 2023 schedule reflects the significant bounce back in leisure travel and the increasing demand for European sun destinations, particularly along the Mediterranean. Aer Lingus is increasing its peak summer capacity to Malaga and Faro from both Cork and Dublin. It is also increasing capacity on other popular European routes including, Alicante, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Perpignan, Izmir, Bordeaux, and Athens from Dublin. In fact, Aer Lingus is increasing seats to Euro-Leisure destinations by 18% compared to last year, reflecting consumer demand for sun.
Tapping into Travel Trends for 2023
2023 is forecasted to show strong demand for family favourite holiday destinations like Spain and Portugal which offer the comfort and reassurance of the familiar. Whereas younger generations seek adventure along the paths less travelled.
North America – 2.25 Million Seats for Summer 2023
Looking to North America, Aer Lingus will have a bumper 2.25 million seats on sale for Summer 2023, making it a record schedule in its history of flying across the Atlantic. In peak summer Aer Lingus will deploy its full Airbus A330 fleet and A321neo LR aircraft on the Atlantic, enabling Aer Lingus to offer 20% more seats from Ireland to North America than in 2019.
Key favourites Boston, New York JFK, Chicago and Washington D.C will operate double-daily from Dublin during peak summer; new route Cleveland, Ohio will commence in May; and Hartford, Connecticut will resume in March for the first time since the pandemic. Aer Lingus will operate a total of 15* North American routes from Ireland next summer.
