Emerald Airlines – the exclusive operator of the Aer Lingus Regional service – has received the top safety accreditation for global airlines.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) – awarded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) – is seen as the top quality mark for airline safety auditing.
The audit covers everything from flight operations, engineering and maintenance to cabin operations, ground handling, cargo and security management. Historically, IOSA-accredited airlines have shown much lower accident rates than non-accredited carriers.
Emerald Airlines CEO Keith Butler said: “This is a significant milestone for Emerald Airlines and a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our teams. Safety is at the core of everything we do, and IOSA registration reflects the strength of the systems and culture we have built across our operations.”
