Total flown passenger numbers, including Aer Lingus Regional operations, increased by 1.7% to 1,019,000 in September 2012 compared to September 2011.
Aer Lingus Mainline’s flown passenger load factor increased by 1.3 points on September 2011 to 84.4%. Short-haul flown load factor was 81.4%, an increase of 0.5 points, with capacity decreasing by 0.9%. Long-haul flown load factor was 90.7%, an increase of 3.0 points, with capacity increasing by 0.4%.
Aer Lingus Mainline’s total flown passenger numbers were 926,000, a decrease of 0.8% compared to September 2011. Short-haul flown passengers were 829,000, a decrease of 1.4%, while long-haul flown passengers were 97,000, an increase of 4.3%.
Aer Lingus Regional’s total flown passenger numbers in September 2012 were 93,000, an increase of 36.8% compared to September 2011.
