Key travel trade and media enjoyed a margarita reception with cocktails celebrating the official route launch to Cancun announced earlier this month, followed by an Irish Mexican celebration with music, tacos, burgers and more in the outside garden!
The new route to Cancún, Mexico, commences from January 2026 and will operate 3 times weekly on the airline’s A330-300 aircraft, offering Irish holidaymakers a seamless route to the warmth and vibrant cultural heritage of the Mexican Caribbean. This new direct service, operating from 6 January to 29 April 2026, provides an effortless option for those looking to escape the cold Irish winter months, while avoiding the hassle of long stopovers.
