Aer Lingus Recruiting New Cabin Crew

Fancy a career in the skies? Aer Lingus has launched a recruitment drive to fill new cabin crew positions for its Dublin base in summer 2017, giving aspiring cabin crew members the chance to fly to over 100 destinations throughout UK, Continental Europe and North America on Ireland’s only 4-star airline.

To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years of age or over, live and work in the Republic of Ireland, be fluent in English, both spoken and written, hold a valid EEA Passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel, and have at least 12 months combined experience in a customer service/sales role.

No day is ever the same working as Aer Lingus cabin crew. There are a wide variety of responsibilities and duties involved but ultimately the job involves keeping every guest safe, while making their experience onboard the best it can be.

Crucial attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and well-developed team-work skills. Demonstrating leadership potential, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability are also highly important, as well as having proven customer service skills.

Successful candidates will complete cabin crew training at Aer Lingus’s in-house Training Academy, located in Dublin Airport, where they will learn a wide range of topics from theoretical and practical components and health and safety procedures, through to grooming and guest experience.
