Aer Lingus and Visit USA Take Over Dublin 4 for Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2025

It was all systems go as Visit USA and Aer Lingus hosted trade and media in Dublin 4 for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in the Aviva Stadium where K-State took on Iowa State to an electric and truly all American atmosphere. This was FARMAGEDDON 2025!

Visit USA kicked off a tail gate BBQ in the Schoolhouse where ITTN’s Katie Doyle joined the gorgeous Tryphavana Cross and trade partners for delicious bites and beers before heading down to the Aviva Stadium to catch the pre show and game.

I joined Aer Lingus at the stadium where they hosted trade in the touchdown club for a seemingly endless stream of deliciously themed food and beverages.

For those of you who don’t know anything about American Football – and trust me – I certainly didn’t! It’s was a baptism of fire to try and keep up with the incredible amount of players, cheerleaders, mascots and individual bands for both sides – I was lucky to have Matt from Trailfinders, Eoin from Dublin Airport and Colleen from Bookabed explain to me the basic rules and format of the actual match so that I could at least try and keep up with the rules to some extent. And up until this point, I had thought GAA was hard to follow! With my novelty finger in hand and flag supporting K – State, it was all ‘Go Cats’ for me. But alas, it was Iowa state or the ‘Cyclones’ that took the win.

What an experience and thanks to our exceptional hosts on the day. It was definitely one to remember. Check out ITTN social media for pictures and videos of the day.
