Aer Lingus Adds 1,400 Extra Seats for Cheltenham

Aer Lingus has announced that it will add 1,400 extra seats on its Dublin – Birmingham, Dublin – Bristol and Cork – Bristol routes for the Cheltenham Festival. The extra seats have been added to meet the demand among racing enthusiasts looking to travel to the famous racing festival taking place between Tuesday 15th and Friday 18th March.

Aer Lingus has added an additional two return flights between Dublin and Birmingham on 14th and 18th March, with an extra 700 seats available. The airline will operate a total of 13 return flights over the two days to meet strong demand from race goers.

In addition, Aer Lingus Regional has added a total of 700 extra seats on its Dublin – Bristol route.  The airline will operate three flights daily on the route, in addition to a daily flight on its Cork – Bristol route for the duration of race week.

Flights from Dublin to Bristol start at €24.99 one way and from Dublin to Birmingham start at €19.99.

“The increased passenger capacity is a direct response to the strong demand for racing enthusiasts.  The extra seats will therefore provide greater choice and flexibility for our passengers looking to cheer on their favourite horses and sample the unique atmosphere at this world-class sporting festival.”
