Dubai Tourism joined up with Virgin Atlantic, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Atlantis – The Palm in Dublin last week for an informative presentation followed by dinner.
Ingrid Aagesen, Senior Manager, Dubai Representative Office in UK & Ireland, told Irish Travel e-News that Dubai had attracted 34,521 Irish visitors in 2010. She welcomed the additional traffic that RCCL would generate from Ireland, with many visitors opting for pre, post or both stopovers in Dubai.
A table quiz tested the knowledge of the trade, with the winning table getting 31 out 33 questions correct. No doubt, the quiz will have increased the product knowledge and assist counter staff in selling this great destination as a cruising hub.
