Ryanair Adding 14 of its ‘Greener’ Planes to Dublin-Based Fleet

Ryanair has announced that it will add 14 of its new Boeing ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft to its growing fleet at Dublin Airport.

The move is part of a significant expansion of Ryanair’s operations at Dublin Airport for the upcoming summer 2025 holiday season.

The use of the Boeing Gamechangers is part of Ryanair’s overall efforts to reach net zero carbon emission levels across its European, north African and Middle East route networks. That focus also includes the increasing use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

The Gamechanger jets reduce carbon emissions by 16% and noise emissions by 40%.

Ryanair’s growth at Dublin will also see increased frequency on 18 existing routes, 1 new route – to Rabat; and 1 new Dublin-based plane. In all, it is increasing its Dublin fleet to 34 planes.
