Loganair Appoints New Director of Safety and Sustainability

Loganair has appointed Rebecca Borresen as its new Director of Safety and Sustainability.

Formerly with Babcock Offshore Helicopters, where she was Safety Manager, Ms Borresen will be responsible for delivering on Loganair’s safety and sustainability strategies and ensuring the UK regional airline has a gold-standard approach to these areas.

Loganair CEO Luke Farajallah said: “This is another key appointment for Loganair as we continue to attract exceptional people to our already talented team. I am especially pleased that we have attracted someone who learnt her craft in the heavily regulated and safety-driven environment of the Oil & Gas industry.

“Bringing together people who have wide-ranging industry experience and from diverse backgrounds is a fundamental part of what makes any company successful. There are few subjects more relevant and important to an airline than Safety and Sustainability. Rebecca will also be heavily involved in our partnership with Hybrid-Electric aircraft manufacturer Heart Aerospace as we push forward on our decarbonisation agenda.

“We welcome Rebecca to the Loganair team as we strive for excellence in everything we do as we build a bright and sustainable future.”
