
GoVolta – a Dutch startup train service operator – has launched with a debut route; between Amsterdam and Hamburg, via Berlin; with prices starting at just €10.
The company – already dubbed the EasyJet of the railways – has a stated aim of making European train travel as easy and affordable as flying.
The company is also launching city break packages, which includes train ticket and hotel accommodation and it is looking at Amsterdam to Paris as its next route next year.
