Dalata Hotel Group Hails Progress on Sustainability Strategy

Dalata Hotel Group – the owner and operator of the Clayton and Maldron hotel brands – has continued to progress its sustainability strategy.

The group said it achieved 29% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions per room sold in the first half of this year, compared to the first six months of pre-Covid 2019 levels.

The update formed part of Dalata’s half-year financial results, which also showed a strong rise in group revenue for the first six months of the year.

In June, Dalata secured a Green Tourism sustainability certification for all of its Clayton, Maldron and partner hotels – which acknowledge the group’s efforts to minimise environmental impact.
