Air France-KLM has confirmed an agreement with French energy giant TotalEnergies for the supply of up to 1.5 million tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) over 10 years.
Air France-KLM – already the world’s leading airline SAF user – is committed to reducing its emissions by 30%, compared to 2019 pre-Covid levels by 2030.
This, it aims to do, by fleet renewal and various operational measures – including SAF usage.
