Yvonne Muldoon Joins Aer Lingus as Director of Sales

Aer Lingus has appointed Yvonne Muldoon as Director of Sales. Yvonne, who has extensive experience in the transport and travel sectors, started her career in Aer Lingus where she fulfilled roles in Revenue Management and Corporate Sales and subsequently went on to work with United Airlines, as Sales Manager for Ireland for over 10 years, and most recently as Head of Business Development with Car Trawler, the Dublin-based travel technology service.

Keith Butler, Aer Lingus Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Yvonne takes over our Director of Sales role at a very exciting time for Aer Lingus as we continue to grow our fleet, increase our connecting traffic to/from Europe and integrate with new partners. She will be spearheading the sales initiatives for our new transatlantic route launches this year to Los Angeles, Newark and Hartford Connecticut. Yvonne’s extensive experience and understanding of our market makes her a very valuable addition to the Aer Lingus team as we continue to grow our business.”

Yvonne added: “I am delighted to be appointed to the role and look forward to working with such a successful and ambitious global team. I will welcome the opportunity to meet with our trade and business partners over the coming months as we enter into an exciting time with our global expansion.”
