In an effort to support the tourism industry in Japan, The Real Japan has launched the ‘Travel Volunteer’ project: a worldwide online contest to win a 100+1 day trip to Japan. Candidates need to apply by 31st July 2011.
Starting the journey on 15th September 2011, the selected Travel Volunteer will visit all of Japan’s 47 prefectures and share impressions through a dedicated travel blog and through social networks. All travel and accommodation expenses, including international airfares will be covered by the project.
International support is also sought for this non-profit initiative, whether in the form of a financial or non-financial contribution (airline tickets, free accommodation and meals in Japan, etc).
