WestJet Connect Takes Flight

WestJet’s new inflight entertainment system, WestJet Connect, has finally arrived, featuring wireless connectivity and more than 450 movies and television programmes!

Guests will be able to access WestJet Connect using a smartphone, tablet or laptop right from the comfort of their seats, which are powered by 110V and/or USB power outlets.

The system will be activated on all of WestJet’s Boeing 767ER aircraft and more than 30 per cent of WestJet’s Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft by the end of 2015, with installations on the majority of the B737 fleet scheduled to be completed in 2016.

At launch, WestJet Connect featured 85 movies and 329 television programmes, which are being refreshed on a monthly basis.
