US Airways is to commence a daily non-stop service from London Heathrow to its hub at Charlotte in March 2013 using an A330 aircraft that will originate in Miami and offer Envoy Business Class including fully lie-flat seats and restaurant-style meals.
Doug Parker, US Airways Chairman, said: “This new service will augment our existing transatlantic network and provide more choices for customers in markets up and down the east coast. The new service from Charlotte will supplement the airline’s existing daily service between its international gateway in Philadelphia and London Heathrow.”
