Uniworld Introduces Italy in 2013 Programme

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will introduce Italy into its spring 2012 programe. A remodeled River Countess will offer a 13-day ‘Splendours of Italy’ combining a seven-night river cruise of the Po River and Venice Lagoon with a two-night stay in Florence and three nights in Rome. There is also an eight-day cruise-only option, ’Venice and the Po River’.

Chris Fundell, Uniworld’s Marketing Manager, said: “We made the decision to move the River Countess from her current location along the Rhine, Main, and Danube to Italy. While this is a costly venture to move her, it’s the right decision as we want to provide our clients with another world-class destination, especially as many of our past guests have been asking for us to offer cruises in this area.”
