Travelport’s search for a successor to Dave Walsh as its Country Manager Ireland is drawing to a close and an announcement is expected later this month.
On Tuesday evening, 35 travel agents attended Travelport’s official launch of Travelport Cruise Net at La Stampa in Dublin, where Simon Ferguson, Regional Director UK and Ireland, made the first official presentation to customers.
Live demonstrations were made on the night by Dave Conlon on the following Travelport products: Cruise Net, ePricing, Smartpoint (the new desktop booking system), Universal Desktop (Irish beta agent to be announced in the coming weeks), Viewtrip mobile (a smartphone app that allows agent customers view itineraries and updates on the move), and VNETT, the virtual credit card.
