Tom Britton, Managing Director of Marble City Travel, competed in and completed the 39th edition of the Run Barbados Marathon this past weekend.
Tom was very happy with his time despite twisting his ankle halfway through.
This year’s races took place along Barbados’ rugged East Coast. Tom and other participants enjoyed the cool ocean breeze and the natural beauty of Barbados combined with the sounds of the steel pan, the local “tuk bands” and the highly appreciative local spectators as they took part in the 5k, 7k, half marathon and full marathon races.
Well done to Tom and everyone involved!
