The sleek and modern cruise ship Celebrity Infinity docked in Dublin port last Friday 17th May and Thomas Cook and American Holidays staff were there to check it out along with their respective VIP competition winner guests.

Stephanie Mooney and her husband Sean were with the Thomas Cook team, whose Caroline Kelly reports:  “The group had a fantastic day that began with a mimosa reception on board the ship. With the fabulous Lorraine Quinn as our guide for the day, we toured the magnificent vessel and experienced this 5-star ship first hand. The ship itself has been ‘Solsticised’, as Lorraine and the team put it, and the result has been a very modern finish to the ship. From the iced martini bar to the spacious staterooms, full-size theatre and fabulous restaurants on board the ship, you couldn’t help but be blown away with the level of luxury that you experience on board Celebrity Infinity.

“Once the tour had finished we even had a chance to sample the cuisine for ourselves! We were seated in the main restaurant where three courses of the most divine food imaginable were placed in front of us, followed by teas and coffee. Celebrity Infinity with its reputation for world-class cuisine did not disappoint!

“Thank you to Celebrity for a most enjoyable day on board the magnificent Celebrity Infinity.”

American Holidays staff also visited the Celebrity Infinity and brought along 10 guests who won a Facebook competition with the tour operator.

Lisa Byrne reports: “Our winners were brought on onboard by Lorraine Quinn and Jennifer McCallister. Guests were brought on a tour of this stunning ship to see what it has to offer, from the main dining room, comfortable lounges, basketball court, spa, gym, Icebar where cocktails are made to order – and then on to experience three-course fine dining at lunch.”
