SAS Increases Passenger Numbers on Irish Routes

Scandinavian Airlines increased its passenger numbers on all of its Irish routes for the first half of 2012.

Figures from January – June this year show a 12% increase on its Dublin – Stockholm route, a 5% increase on Dublin – Copenhagen, and a 2% increase on Dublin – Oslo.

Alan Sparling, Country Manager Ireland, said: “There is no doubt that there is an increase in awareness towards Scandinavia as a good value-for-money destination. Even with the rise in low service competitors on the route, our traffic numbers have increased and it clearly shows that if you have a punctual, flexible and business orientated timetable, you will see a steady growth in passenger numbers.”
