Nashville Delegation Comes to Dublin

A delegation from Nashville, where the music never stops, came to Dublin to promote the music hub of the USA.

Nashville Music City, a melting pot of world-class country, rock and classical jazz, together with outstanding art, cuisine and great shopping, creates an unforgettable experience for tourists.

At their presentation in Dublin, Heather Middleton and Deana Ivey from Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation gave an excellent overview of the Nashville product, which has grown year on year and will have 13.5 million international visitors this year. Also visiting from Nashville were Laurel Bennett, Nashville CVC; Phil Mack, Keep It Country TV; Wayne Chandler, Grand Ole Oprey; and Brad Henton, Country Music Hall of Fame Museum.

Irish visitors and holiday makers have increased steadily over recent years and this trend is expected to continue for 2016. At present the building of 2,000 new beds and a further 2,500 in planning will cover requirements for the expected rise in tourists for the coming years.
