Mantic Point Launches ‘Who’s Where’ for Corporate Travel Managers

Itinerary management solutions provider Mantic Point has announced the launch of ‘Who’s Where’, a new corporate duty of care product designed to provide corporate travel buyers and travel management companies with the ability to track and alert individual travellers to any issues that may affect them on their journey.

The traveller location and reporting tool brings together the itinerary tracking and duty of care capabilities of Mantic Point’s integrated traveller i-TIM (Integrated Traveller Itinerary Management) product, in an easy-to-use, online self-service portal for corporate customers and TMCs. Global TMC Portman Travel has been the first to take up this new product, following on from the successful launch of its new and unique interactive itinerary tools suites, the Portman Trip Planner (PTP) and the Portman App, both created with Mantic Point’s technology.

Mike Atherton, Mantic Point’s Chief Executive, said: “With just a few clicks, the corporate buyer can quickly see where their employees are in the world, the status of their trip, any issues that might affect them and have the ability to send direct messages through to them. In addition they will be able to see all the messages sent by their TMC to ensure the right people are getting the right information, at the right time.”

As well as seeing where people are, based on their itinerary, the user can also list, print and download the information for use in other systems or for reporting. The user is able to drill down to the region, country, type of travel taken, by name or booking reference, so information can be accessed as quickly and as easily as possible.

Adrian Parkes, Chief Commercial Officer at Portman Travel said: “Corporate Social Responsibility is high on the agenda of all businesses. For those responsible for organising corporate travel for their company, it is vital to ensure the welfare and safety of its employees as part of their CSR policy. By having access to an online traveller tracking tool such as ‘Who’s Where’, not only can we monitor the progress of an individual’s journey, but we can contact them directly should any issues or emergencies arise. For Portman, it supports our CSR responsibilities and at the same time provides extra assurance to the travellers.”

The ‘Who’s Where’ product is available as part of Mantic Point’s i-TIM product suite and for Travelport agencies, which take the white label version of ViewTrip Mobile.
