Kristin Skinner Wins Trip to California

Virgin Atlantic Airways’ Terry Smith and Janice Scott, along with their partners the Los Angeles and San Francisco tourist boards, invited the Irish travel trade to celebrate what’s new for the airline in 2012, with new aircraft and upgrading of the Economy Class product. A £100 million investment is proof of 100% commitment for the coming year.

Beth Schuh, Travel Trade Director for the San Francisco Travel Association, told the attendees that the famous Golden Gate Bridge will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year and the US Open Golf Championship will be held at the historic Olympic Club – Pasatiempo Golf Club in San Francisco in June 2012.

Francine Sheridan, Director for Europe, LA Inc, the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, presented the new Los Angeles Airport, which is a stunning testament to design and state-of-the-art innovation. With the inclusion of top of the range designer shops, travellers will have a unique retail experience.
