Irish travel agents are part of an international mega agents fam to Malaysia that sees them visit the capital, Kuala Lumpur, then on to Terengganu before heading to Langkawi. They also witnessed the colourful Colours of 1Malaysia 2013 ceremonies in Kuala Lumpur’s Independence Square, which was attended by His Majesty the King Yang DiPertuan Agong. The international agents were personally thanked for their attendance by the new Malaysian Minister of Tourism,YB Dato Seri Mohamed Nazri Bin Tan Sri Abdul Aziz. They were then treated to a very impressive and spectacular performance by the more than 6,500 participants. The event culminated with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky in the nation’s capital.
Earlier the group had paid a VIP visit to the Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, where they viewed the Kuala Lumpur skyline with its ever increasing number of skyscrapers.
