The panel of judges for the 2015 ITTN Travel Agency of the Year Award selected a winner for each province yesterday, Wednesday 7th October, one of whom will be announced as the overall national winner at the Irish Travel Trade Awards on Friday 27th November 2015.
This year‘s Awards event sponsors (now a record 18 in number) were invited to nominate their top travel agency in each province and all nominated agencies were then invited to make a submission about their agency, including recent and planned marketing innovations, their website and social media activities, and photos of their agency exterior and interior.
The judges – Joan Scales, Travel Journalist, The Irish Times; Sinead Grace, Media & PR Manager, Tourism Ireland; Michael Flood, Editor, Irish Travel Trade News; and Neil Steedman, News & Features Editor, Irish Travel Trade News – met in the offices of Grant Thornton with Stephen Murrary as independent Chairman, and, following considerable debate, selected the following winners from eight nominated agencies in Leinster, six in Munster, four in Connaught, and five in Ulster:

CONNAUGHT REGION: FAHY TRAVEL
ULSTER REGION: OASIS TRAVEL
Two representatives from each of the four winning agencies will be invited as guests of Irish Travel Trade News to the Irish Travel Trade Awards Gala Dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road (formerly the Burlington Hotel) on Friday 27th November 2015, when the overall winner of the 2015 ITTN Travel Agency of the Year will be announced.
