Celebrity to Host ‘Modern Luxury Giveaway’ for Agents

In celebration of five years since Celebrity Eclipse launched in Southampton, Celebrity Cruises is hosting the ‘Modern Luxury Giveaway’ – its largest ever agent giveaway and sales blitz taking place between 10th and 20th April 2015. Agents will receive a range of booking incentives, offers to entice clients and enjoy a series of themed visits and events.

Over one week, more than 2,100 agents will enjoy a visit from team members working in the Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland head office, from marketing to revenue personnel, including Jo Rzymowska, Managing Director UK & Ireland. It is the largest ever sales blitz in the history of the business.

The Modern Luxury Squad will deliver information on offers, incentives and what’s new from the luxury cruise line. Plus, agents can also claim their ‘cruise day in a bag’ – a selection of promotional materials, from balloons and bunting to posters and point-of-sale, to support agents in hosting their own celebration cruise day.

The celebration week also includes a tempting offer to drive awareness of Celebrity Cruises. Any agent who books a 2015 Celebrity Cruises holiday between 10th and 20th April will receive a free tastecard valid for two months – giving agents 50% discounts or two-for-one offers at over 7,000 restaurants throughout the UK. Agents will also enjoy a huge bonus of 1,000 Celebrity Rewards points for any booking made during the 10-day celebration window.

In addition to the booking incentives – which are on top of the Celebrity Discover incentive running throughout April, which offers agents double Rewards points – we are giving agents some great offers to pass on to clients and entice bookings.

“Agents can drive bookings with an added $100 onboard spend plus a case of six bottles of Laithwaites wine, which we will send direct to customers’ homes. We are looking forward to agents getting involved and to meeting more of our partners in the coming days. We hope they are as excited about the Modern Luxury Giveaway as we are.”

Celebrity Cruises is also marking the celebration week with a series of exclusive cruise events taking place in partnership with agents. Eight evening and afternoon tea events will take place, with Celebrity Cruises personnel attending to be on hand to giveaway additional treats to agents and their clients. Agent partners co-hosting cruise events during the Modern Luxury Giveaway celebration week include Thomas Cook, Hays Travel, Bath Travel and Vision Cruise.
