Shannon-based aircraft maintenance firm Atlantic Aviation has finalised a deal to buy Lufthansa Technik Shannon.
Atlantic Aviation said the acquisition secures more than 300 of 500 jobs at the Lufthansa unit. Atlantic Aviation and Lufthansa Technik have been in talks for a number of months about the purchase.
