Redefining the Concept of Luxury on the Amalfi Coast: Furore Grand Hotel to Reopen its Doors in April

Furore Grand Hotel is set to reopen its doors this April 15th inviting guests to experience a contemporary approach to the ‘dolce vita’ the Amalfi Coast is famous for. Nestled adjacent to the iconic Furore fjord, between Positano and Amalfi, the property seamlessly blends Mediterranean charm with contemporary sophistication.

50 shades of white and terracotta tones frame the retreat with a destination Spa of over 3000 square meters and a Michelin offering homage to the olive oil and local ingredients.

Perched across nine levels of terraced gardens, Furore Grand Hotel features 35 rooms, 2 restaurants and an outstanding spa with indoor and outdoor facilities, all with breathtaking views of the azure coastline. The interiors – designed with Vietri ceramic floors and handcrafted furnishings – reflect the Amalfi Coast’s charm with shades of white framing vibrant accents inspired by the surrounding landscape, complemented by terracotta and colourful mosaics crafted by local artisans. This harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern sophistication creates a tranquil, stylish sanctuary.

At the core of the project there is a deep respect for the destination and the nature. Set in the “village that doesn’t exists” a nearly uninhabited jewel with direct access to some the most famous trekking paths of the Amalfi coast, like the Path of the Gods, Furore Grand Hotel is a destination in itself with its unique spa, the largest in the area, and a gastronomy experience that celebrates the best of local products.

The Petramare Spa concept is focused on the properties of the Olive tree, an enduring symbol of the Mediterranean and a vital element of Furore’s landscape. This iconic element serves as the inspiration for the spa’s wellness philosophy, with each treatment designed to harness its powerful benefits.

For the treatments, guests can select from three bespoke fragrances curated by the spa team, all featuring notes inspired by the nature surrounding the property. This wellness sanctuary spans 3,000 square meters, encompassing indoor and outdoor spaces for a complete sensory experience. Indoor facilities include heated pool and whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, and emotional shower, while outdoor amenities include saltwater pools, yoga zones, and a panoramic gym with outstanding sea views.

Under the guidance of Michelin-starred Chef Enrico Bartolini and resident chef Vincenzo Russo, the property is a celebration of the food and wine tradition of the area, from a la carte breakfast to the wide cocktails range and light bi thattes at the bar, to Acquarasa, an all-day dining venue celebrating Mediterranean flavours and Bluh Furore, a fine dining restaurant that earned its first Michelin star within months of opening.

As Furore Grand Hotel prepares to reopen this April, it reaffirms its position as a sanctuary of elegance and innovation. Whether guests seek tranquil wellness experiences, exquisite culinary delights, or the unmatched beauty of the Amalfi Coast, the hotel offers an intimate retreat that captures the essence of contemporary Italian luxury.

Rooms with breakfast at Furore Grand Hotel start from €800 per night.
