FBD Hotels & Resorts Introduces The Reserve at Killashee

Introducing The Reserve at Killashee the ultimate country retreat where luxury meets exclusivity.

This is the newest addition to the enchanting Killashee estate and is located moments away from the hotel on its own 4.5 acres grounds outside Naas in County Kildare.

The Reserve is a premium ultra luxurious residence that presents an elevated experience that redefines country living with unparalleled privacy and sophistication. With nine ensuite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 18 people, a dining room, boardroom for 10, library, living room and a large spacious kitchen area, the property is wheelchair accessible.

Outside, the former stables have been transformed into Wellness Pods with a hot tub, relaxation room, sauna, gym and two treatment rooms with Elemis skincare. The patio decking area houses a BBQ area and the 4.5 acres of surrounding mature gardens are currently being landscaped and will feature designated walks.

Interior designer Liz Hart and architects Cantrell & Crowley were engaged to create a welcoming, self-contained sustainable space. Warm neutral tones are highlighted with shades of green and rustic tones inspired by the surrounding countryside and complemented with natural materials of wood, stone and marble across the plush furnishings.

The Reserve at Killashee leads in eco-luxury by blending sustainability with a premium luxurious, eco-conscious guest experience where every element is sustainably designed. Renewable energy, zero waste, and green building practices combine with nature-based wellness offerings, including outdoor yoga, a walking trail, organic treatments and culinary experiences with local, organic sourced produce and seasonal menus. The Reserve is a destination that represents sustainable tourism, aligning with both Killashee’s ESG goals and the growing demand for environmentally conscious travel.

The self-contained property can be hired independently or used in conjunction with events in the hotel. Ideally positioned for corporate groups, wedding parties, friends and multi-generational family gatherings, it is multi-purpose and can also be used for activities such as yoga retreats, courses and product launches.

Primely located close to golf courses, three racecourses The Curragh, Punchestown and Naas, and numerous historic visitor attractions, The Reserve can be booked for a minimum two nights stay.*

There is a selection of menus specifically designed for The Reserve including charcuterie & cheese platters, finger food, selection of canapes & cold buffet menus. Alternatively, guests have the option of dining in Killashee Hotel’s restaurants including the Pippin Tree and the Oak & Anvil. Guests can also avail of the facilities at the main hotel including The Spa and leisure centre with the 25m swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna.

Killashee which was bought by FBD Hotel & Resorts in April 2022, has been transformed with significant investment into the hotel itself, The Spa and more recently the refurbishment of the original Manor House. In early 2024, FBD Hotels & Resorts purchased The Bower guesthouse located directly across the main Kilcullen Road from Killashee Hotel for €1.2m. A country residence built in 1999 and extending 5,200 sq. ft (483 sq. mt) the house was completely renovated with an investment of €2 million to create The Reserve at Killashee.
