ITTN is delighted to welcome back Virgin Atlantic as one of our valued joint Headline Sponsors for the third consecutive year, without whom, the 2024 ITTN Irish Travel Trade Awards would not be possible.
Below is a short message to the trade, from Celene Duffy (APG Ireland), John Price (Virgin Atlantic’s Senior Account Manager) and the wider Virgin Atlantic team:
“As we begin to close out 2024, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you, the amazing travel trade in Ireland, for all your support during 2024. We’ve had a fantastic year! We’ve attended lots of trade events across the country meeting our well-established agency partners as well as lots of new talent who have decided to enter this very exciting, ever-changing resilient trade! We’re delighted to see this new generation is very much aware of the wonderful, diverse product Virgin Atlantic offers, and can see our inspiring brand is as bright as ever in the minds of our trade partners old and new. We’re excited to continue supporting all our trade partners to help them bring our wonderful service and exciting routes to their clients. This year we’ve increased our marketing, capacity, and availability along with adding some incredible new destinations to our offering.
We’re delighted to announce we’re bringing back the ever-popular route of Cancun for 2025! with three departures per week, and seats go on sale December 4th. In addition, we have added Toronto, Riyadh, and Accra to our 2025 schedule. For more information on all our routes, you can visit the Virgin Atlantic Partner hub.
We are once again the headline sponsor of the upcoming ITTN awards, November 29th, along with our friends in Virgin Voyages, making this our third year running! This is a testament to our commitment to the Irish Travel trade and we can’t think of a better way to show our support than partnering with the wonderful team at ITTN to bring together this event to honour the incredible Irish travel trade.
In true Virgin Atlantic Style, we had to close out the year big! We’ve teamed up with the St. Lucia tourist board, Bel Jou, and Royalton St. Lucia, together we will host a group of ten lucky agents, who will depart Dublin & Cork in early December for a trip of a lifetime to the stunning Island of St. Lucia. The group will stay in beautiful hotels, have some great experiences, and soak up some well-deserved winter sun before the January rush! We look forward to bringing more Irish agents to “see the world differently” with Virgin Atlantic on trips like this in 2025.
All of this would not be possible without the support of you, our trade partners, we would like to thank you once again, and wish you all the very best for 2025!”
From all of us at ITTN, we want to sincerely thank Virgin Atlantic for their unwaivering committment of ITTN and the Irish travel trade. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all this Friday!
