The Wild Atlantic Way has been named one of the top destinations in a new list of the world’s most romantic road trips for honeymooners.
According to travel experts SkyParkSecure, online searches for “honeymoon ideas for outdoorsy couples” have risen by 150% in the last year, with searches for “3-day honeymoon ideas” and “4-day honeymoon ideas” rising 100%.
The top 3 destinations on the list are Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Andalusia in Spain and Portugal’s Algarve region.
However, Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way comes in 4th – ahead of the South of France, mainland Greece and the UK’s Peak District and Cotswolds region.
